Translink’s Rural Transport Unit is delighted to announce the reintroduction of the popular Saturday extension to Service 26B.
The route which is supported by Department for Regional Development commences from Saturday 14th June 2008 serves Dundrum, Seaforde, Drumaness, Ballynahinch, Annahilt, Hillsborough and Sprucefield.
The service which proved to be extremely popular last year will operate until Saturday 13th September 2008 and provides 3 return journeys.
Whether it’s shopping in Lisburn or walking along the beautiful promenade in Newcastle, the choice is yours. The service can also assist local residents and provides an excellent opportunity for day trippers and tourists to explore the natural and rugged beauty of the area. Service 26B operates Monday to Friday throughout the year.
The Rural Transport Fund for Northern Ireland provides improved public transport for communities living in rural areas.
