Smartlink

Multi-Journey (MJ) Smarklink fares offer considerable savings on cash fares. The Smartlink MJ Card can be loaded with a number of journeys from 5 to a maximum of 40 in multiples of 5 journeys (5, 10, 15, 20 etc). The card can hold a maximum of 50 journeys. Smartlink MJ Card journeys are valid for 3 months from when you first purchase the card. Then, each time you ‘top up’ your Smartlink MJ Card all valid unused journeys have their validity extended for a further 3 months.

Any journeys not used within 3 months of a top-up will be lost. The expiry date is shown on your ticket receipt each time you use your card on a bus. When you buy your Smartlink MJ Card, you will pay a one-off charge of £1.50 for the card.

The prices for a Smartlink MJ Card (first purchase and topping up) for adults and children are as follows:

N.B. All fares are subject to alteration. Inner Zone Cards can only be used to travel distances covered by the minimum cash fare.

Adult First Purchase (incl. £1.50 for card) Adult Top Up (no charge for card)  Child First Purchase (incl. £1.50 for card)  Child Top Up (no charge for card)
